Have you ever wondered why when you try to “share” possibly life-changing info with people who have “opted-in” to receive information from you think that you’re trying to scam them?

Have you experienced that as a marketer?

It just so happens that the more I communicate, more messages come back to me with words like: “you’re not as inspirational”, or “you’re lame” or “too many emails”, or “you’re boring.”

These Boots Were Made For Manifesting…

What do those words “boots” and “manifesting” have to do with each other?  I won’t obviously give you the answer to that question.  It will be revealed in the brief story below.

A very dear friend of mine told me the very jovial and humorously true story about how she was able to purchase a pair of boots that she really liked.  However, she didn’t have any money.  As a matter of fact, she’s been living for the last 3 or so months collecting employment insurance benefits as a result of being one of the employees in a mass layoff… something that’s happening in astounding numbers across our very “rich” nation.

One could see her situation as bleak, scary or hopeless, but I was quite delighted to learn what she decided to do during this trying time.

My Inauguration 2009 Experience…

It’s been five days since the historical inauguration of the 44th president of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama.  I knew the day would come when a president with noticeably African ancestry would grace the oval office in Washington.  I have to admit, I’m not one with huge political viewpoints or opinions, but I exhaled enormously when he was largely elected by the American people.

I was relieved once the year-long election was over.  I even documented on video when I was voting.
