Law of Attraction, Ho’oponopono Never Stops

I’ve been doing some regular stuff this morning… you know… not too deep, not too emotional… just kind of doin’….

Well, I realized that today, when something struck an “ouch” chord with me, that this was an area that I needed to clean. At first, I would just hit “delete” or navigate somewhere else….You know, like when you receive an email that you didn’t quite resonate with, you just hit “delete” and keep it movin’ not giving it too much thought….

I started thinking about when someone wants to unsubscribe from my list, “Why don’t they just hit delete?” Why do they have to send me a message asking me to take them off? That kind of hurts my feelings and I honestly get a little defensive because I never want to feel like I’m imposing, obtrusive, proselytizing or anything like that.

Finally, I received yet another email from one of my former violin students who has a very strong political stand about certain issues. Truth be told, I read probably 3 out of the hundred something emails he has sent me. Each time I delete one, I’m thinking, “Why does he think this pertains to me or that I’d even be interested?”… with a little nastiness behind it…. (I’m now on the other end of the first comment I made in the paragraph that proceeded this one….*funny*)

Continuing….

I was reading through a couple of articles on other sites, and I noticed I was drawn to the one’s with negative headlines….

“slavery….”
“racial discourse….”
“child abandoned….”

…. and one just kept popping up after the next….

Finally, it just got to the point this morning where I couldn’t simply hit “delete” or “ignore” anymore as I was kind-of apparently doing.

That’s when I remembered…..”I’m being shown where I need to do some cleaning….”

Gosh! Why did have to go through all of that?–lol….(should probably clean on this question! HA!!! ILYISPFMTY)

When I got the unsubscribe message…. That was an area to clean…. right away….
When I got the email messages that I was ignoring before…..That was also an area to clean…..
When I got the sour news headlines….. Another area to clean…..

What I realize is that all of my “disagreements” are coming from past “agreements”…. filtered by beliefs……Time to clean all agreements and get back to zero.

I get it…

So next time I feel “ouch,” I can acknowledge the “ouch” and then begin the mantra: “Thank you….I’m sorry…. Please forgive me… I love you.” for as long as it takes.
