I’ve Released, and It Feels So Good!

A week ago, I had a difficult time saying this statement, because I was holding on to past memories of something that had been so familiar and normal for me for the past six years. It was time to change how I operated on this subject. Before, I was afraid of losing, not realizing how much I was actually missing because of this fear.
For someone who loathes routine, I created one around myself when it came to operating within this particular fear. I needed to feel needed. I needed to feel reliable, trustworthy, accessible, and available. Yikes! What I was ultimately missing was space to simply enjoy life. I would talk and write about all of the time how important feeling good is, but simultaneously, focusing on working…getting the job done…getting this task complete… sending this message… making this contact… following-up on this lead and so forth. I was caught in a trap of “doing” again, which isn’t all bad, but I wasn’t taking the space and time to smell the flowers.
Anyone who really knows me, knows I enjoy time with myself. I’m a socialite too, but the Capricorn moon in me loves to be alone and focused on projects. However, it was time for the Gemini sun to shine for a second and get out.
Well, as a result of releasing the fear and the routines I had gotten caught up in, I’ve been having a whirlwind of fun, and the Law of Attraction keeps lining up more opportunities for fun business! Isn’t that something?
My roles and hats are many, but my primary occupation is that of a violin teacher and performer. I love them both! However, I’m really into visual arts and entertainment. To pull these two loves together, I’m also a make-up artist. Just recently, I’ve had two amazing opportunities to work with artist in the music industry; one for a photo shoot, and the other for a video shoot, with more opportunities to come! This feels really good! I’ve created the space to allow this to come into my life, and its here!
On another fun note, taking a step back from the computer for a second has given me a tasty mouthful of artistry from the listener and observer’s standpoint. Both of these opportunities worked out in a lovely manner—the first, a Joshua Bell concert at Chrysler Hall. Normally, I’d be teaching, but as the Law of Attraction would see fit, all of my students who would normally be taking lessons during that time were able to do make-up lessons, which freed me up to go (ironically, they were going as well, thus the need for make-ups in the first place!-lol). I was able to purchase discounted tickets, AND managed to be one of the first in line to get an autograph and my photo taken with him! What a wonderful evening.
If that wasn’t enough, on the other end of the spectrum, I was able to go to a hip-hop concert of two of my favorite hip-hop artists, Q-Tip and Common
. I was having a difficult time getting tickets, but at the last minute, one of my colleagues asked me what I was doing on Monday and was able to get me in for FREE AND sit in the VIP section! The concert was AMAZING! I’m still really high of the experience and the amount of fun that I have been experiencing lately.
Feeling good is a great thing! There’s nothing like it! I’m looking forward to many more feel-good healthy experiences that fit right into the grand scheme of things!
More doors are opening in ways that I can only imagine! I’m continuing to set the stage with my release and positive disposition, and the Law of Attraction keeps giving me more to feel good about!
