Law of Attraction: Have You Taken Inventory Lately?

Published by Megan on Tagged Basic Information, Tools & Tips

As we go about our day to day travels, experiencing our awareness or unawareness of our creation power, we seem to take a lot for granted normally.  We’re consumed with where we’re headed, how long it’s going to take to get there, who we perceive as being in the way of us getting there, what’s going to happen when we get there and so forth.  We are so distracted with getting somewhere and going someplace that we forget to notice what is occurring in the “now.”  The “now” is a very revealing and sacred place to absorb that “all is well.”  We miss the very things that we’ve asked for unknowingly come into our lives but yet we don’t recognize them as such.  Before long, we start to think that nothing that we’re asking for is coming because we’ve been moving so fast that we don’t notice it when it arrives.

Here are three fun ways to take an account of what’s happened in your life recently that you may have overlooked: 1) begin to notice the little things and appreciate them, 2) keep a playful journal of your days and 3) look for the positive lessons to be learned at all times.

A lot of people are familiar with the saying, “don’t sweat the small stuff.”  If the small stuff is stressing you out, then I agree with this statement.  But in many circumstances, the “small stuff” provides vivid details around your life, and can empower you in astonishing ways.  Many epiphanies and “aha” moments occur because someone has recognized “the small stuff.”  Taking notice of intuitive hunches leaves yourself open to larger possibilities and helps to guide you to your desired manifestations.  Here’s a sample illustration of this.  You decide that you need to increase your business but the advertising budget is small.  Instead of stressing over what to do first, you start being aware and paying attention to places and people you can do this through.  As you’re making a routine trip to the bank, you decide to stop inside of a storefront related to your line of work with a stack of business cards.  To make a long story short, you’ve just met a well-connected and reputable business owner that was just looking for someone with your product.  They provide you with many outlets that cost barely anything to get your word out.  Instead of just simply putting their information into a pile of contact cards you’ve collected, take the time to acknowledge and be grateful for the manifestation of your request.

Journaling about your day is another way to reflect and ponder on some of the wonderful things that could have manifested, which provide more opportunities to express gratitude, appreciation and joy. Celebrate your successes in the journal by taking note of the baby steps that you’ve accomplished toward your goals of running your own sports bar, starting a new franchise, or your full service salon.  Even if you just took a trip to the bank and applied for yet another business loan, that’s still a step closer to reaching your physical manifestation.  Keep account of this in a loving and playful manner so your emotions remain sound, joyful, happy and relaxed as opposed to needy, stressed, desperate and anxious.

Finally, we’re being taught lessons with our challenges during the day.  Instead of facing the challenges as roadblocks and stressors, paint a more useful picture of them as being strengtheners and tools.  Turn your obstacles into stepping stones and opportunities to create in your favor.  See how you can reframe “road rage” instead of accepting that you “have it.”  Take a chance on smiling at someone who just presented you with an obscene gesture.  Approach your gossiping co-worker’s comments with a compassionate ear instead of a judgmental or condescending demeanor.

Stop for a second to look around and take inventory of all of the good that is happening around you, and you’ll begin to notice an abundance of wonderful things that have been occurring all along that were hidden behind the murky glass or opaque veil of “life.”
