Law of Attraction: Is There Any Such Thing as a “Good Day or a Bad Day?”
Published by Megan on Tagged Basic Information->
You may wake up in the morning with a headache. You may look out of the window and see that it’s raining. You check your pantry and realize that you’ve run out of coffee. You notice that the dog decided to tear up your favorite pillow. Your best friend calls to tell you how you hurt their feelings the day before, and everything seems to spiral from there. Most people would respond to beginning the day like this with the all too common phrase, “I’m having a bad day.”
In actuality, when stuff lines up like this, it’s showing us where we’re vibrating; at a lower, less-happy frequency, where our sub-conscious and conscious are separated and working against or apart from each other. This vibration is definitely stemming from a belief or thought that is rearing its ugly head. Anytime someone goes through this type of “day,” it’s basically defined by the thoughts around how we’re feeling about those activities. It’s very easy to get caught in the feelings of disappointment that follow a major blow in your love life or finding out that you ran out of bathroom tissue at the most inopportune time.
The real challenge is changing your perception around how you’re feeling; changing how long you take to respond. When you experience any of these uncomfortable feelings, this is a good time to ask yourself, “What am I being shown about my beliefs or thought patterns that are causing this to manifest today?” It’s OK to feel the initial emotions, but to activate the Law of Attraction in a more conducive way that can turn the “day” around in your favor is to use the energy that is created by these uncomfortable feelings to move toward a better vibration. Abraham-Hicks labels the practice as moving up the “emotional guidance” scale.
The idea is to uplift your current vibration to a better feeling one until you are back at a positive emotion. For someone who is feeling depressed, it would be very difficult for them to immediately and substantially switch their feelings to one of joy. However, they can reach for the feeling of blame or doubt, which both are less negative emotions that would move them closer up the emotional guidance scale.
Once you move to a place of contentment, and you’re at peace with the feeling of being satisfied where you are, you are now at a neutral crossroad to begin reaching for more positive emotions of hopefulness, optimism, belief and happiness. It’s much easier and more long-lasting to reach for a feeling from happiness at this place; however, one can switch from that depressed feeling by using the switchword “ADJUST” to cast off the heavy burden of the depression feeling and can get the subconscious and conscious to be back together. When this happens, happiness is in close proximity.
So, is there really such a thing called a “good” or a “bad” day? Nope! Everyday starts as simply that; a day… another serious of daylight and waking hours for you to exist and move around responding to your thoughts, feelings and emotions. You can create whatever experiences you want to have in your day based off the feelings you desire to create. Do your best to align your vibrations with good feeling emotions so that your day is chocked full of experiences to solidify those feelings. Use switchwords to help the emotional change happen easily and quickly, and you’ll be well on your way to smiling throughout everyday, being contagious to all you encounter.
