Law of Attraction: September 11th, Where Will Your Thinking Be?

As we are here, on the eve of the sixth year anniversary of the September 11^th terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, what are the first thoughts that come to your mind? Most would agree that many people are experiencing thoughts of pain, sorrow, loss, remorse, fear, rage, and random patriotism when we reflect on what a horrific day that was.

However, with the Law of Attraction in mind, we are reliving this experience in a very negative way when we waddle and bathe in these thoughts that actually attract more doom and dismay to our realities. I don’t mean to be insensitive in any way during this trying time for many; however, I want to pose a challenge to those who are willing to focus on being abundant that day: abundant in love, abundant in joy, abundant in wealth, abundant in happiness, abundant in faith, abundant in peace … virtually anything that invokes a better feeling place from where to launch your thoughts.

In my September Newsletter, I mentioned that I’d be including an interesting activity around something cool that’s taking place on September 11th. According to stardate.org, we will be experiencing a new moon and a solar eclipse on this date. What is the significance of a new moon? It is believed that at the beginning stages (the dark stages) of a moon’s lunar cycle, lies a very powerful time to set new intentions and fuel them throughout the entire waxing and waning period of the moon. This is symbolic of starting fresh and anew with goals, activities, ideas and intentions that you’d like to see manifest in your life.

I came across a cool site that talks specifically about an abundance activity that you can do for attracting more wealth. Here are the details of the activity:

Abundance Checks - they are free and they really work

This is a practical exercise in intention. When you write these checks, you are aligning your intention with the universe, signaling that you are ready and willing to receive. Doing this every month simply re-affirms that intention.

Abundance checks are a tool we can use to create more abundance in our lives. They are written within 24 hours after a New Moon. Surprisingly, you really don’t even need to believe that the check will work when you write it. You will however be amazed at the results, as you will see increased abundance in your life, in some life area. It is not always financial, but certainly in an area that you need.

If you do not have a checking account you can draw a check on a piece of paper and fill it out the same way–the results will be the same, more abundance for you. Here’s how to do them:

1. Within 24 hours after a New Moon, take a check from your check book. Where it says “Pay to,” write your name.
2. In the little box on the same line where you would fill in a dollar amount write “Paid in full.”
3. On the line underneath your name, where you would write out a dollar amount, write “Paid in full.”
4. Sign the check : “The Law of Abundance.”

Do not put a date on the check. Do not write a specific dollar amount in the check. Put in a safe place and forget about it. The Universe will take it from there. Many people are skeptical about trying this until they do it. After the first time, they realize the power of these checks and do them routinely every month! Try it yourself and see!
