Law of Attraction: Zeitgeist—My Final Analysis of the Three Parts
Published by Megan on Tagged Zeitgeist The Movie->
This article is the fifth in an article series about the movie, Zeitgeist, that is being played on google video at the moment. I’ve embedded the entire video within my article entitled Law of Attraction: Zeitgeist—An Eye Opener.
The purpose of this analysis is to sum up my overall interpretation of the movie and to mention what I’d like to see happen in a fourth part to the movie if the producer decides to create one. I emailed the producer of the film and he responded with love, which I greatly appreciated.
Oftentimes it’s difficult to dialogue with people who hold very strongly to their beliefs as absolute, or at least it seems that way in their presentation of their beliefs. I saw the polarity in two very different views: one of a Christian minister and one from the film producer. They seemed to have views that were totally opposite but saying the same thing—you are being deceived. What’s the point of reference for “deception?” For the minister, he could have been feeling as if the producer was deceived, blasphemous and ignorant. Likewise, the producer presented his material in such a way that if he had the chance to speak to this minister, he would tell him that he was being deceived, duped and manipulated. I find the dichotomy to be quite humorous for each person’s contribution to the consciousness field is what keeps the ebb and flow of life very interesting nonetheless.
The evidence of these two extremes brought light to my conclusions about this work. My conclusions come from what I believe to be a neutral standpoint; one that’s not based in heavy “fact” or “doctrine.” It’s just my opinion of what I thought the producer’s overall mission was.
He makes no reference to his background, but based on my observation, it seemed like he was in a nutshell using the tool of the media to stir emotion to cause action to happen. The emotions he was hampering upon the most were fear, anger and attachment–”let me make you angry and mad enough that you’ll want to do something….that you’ll consider something different…. that you’ll at least open your eyes….”
I can honestly say that my emotions were tugged in several directions, and I could read between the smoke and see the message that he was trying to convey, which is simply this: Religion in many ways has been used to control and manipulate to give one man or group of men dominance over another. The manipulation was used to build countries and empires, and it continues today. It has just evolved, as everything does, and he wants us to open our eyes and be conscious of what’s taking place. I believe that he could’ve still gotten that message across without the parody, but again, he wanted to play on extreme emotion.
I’m looking forward to a part four where he elaborates more on the solution of “LOVE.” He ended the movie by slightly hinting this, which makes me think that there’s more coming. There was too much build up and aggression for there not to be a salve, which in actuality will not be any different than God’s essence, just not jacketed and clothed under the guise called “religion.”
Currently the work of David Wilcock has me absorbed in one perception of a solution.
The DVD is now available for purchase. To do so, click here.

my goodness…I have just watched the Zeitgeist movie and I tell you I couldn’t agree with you more
when you made the reference to time seeming to stand still while viewing. Feeding my daughter, burping her
and then occupying her by dangling the singing octopus in her face to keep her smiling, I could not take my eyes off of this movie. First of all, the vocal standup routine of one of my favorite comedians, George Carlin is what got me. From that point I was like, I know where this is going (part 1 at least). In the movie, I was in awe at how the “annointed ones” in the religions historically, had major common characteristics. Not to mention how the producer related the origin and basis of Christianity to tie into astrology and egyptian history. That was most interesting to me.
I’m not one to jump on the band wagon or try something new “just because” or even adopting new principals, “just because” no matter how good it sounds. But this movie really had me ready to question all I’d ever learned in that area. Mission accomplished. Although I haven’t done my own research to understand that the movie was correct but assuming that everything was factual, it was very well believable. Using my intellect, it made PERFECT sense. Whereas w/ religion and all that I’ve learned, Christianity rarely made intellectual sense, it only makes “hopeful” sense when I use my “faith”.
I just kept thinking about the amount of research that he had to do to pull it all together (from beginning to end). Impressive.
I already have my views about 9/11 and the way Bush and his administration handled the situation, also the way his right hand men have been stepping down from their positions since 9/11, (Colin Powell, Rumsfeld, etc), among other things… I figured something might be up.
This movie (and of course Farenheit 911) just confirmed all the possibilities of the “conspiricies” for me. Again, if it’s all factual.
The entire bit on the big wigs controlling the money, draining all finances of the citizens was no surprise to me but the information was powerful. I learned a lot and I’m glad he noted his references in case I wanted to follow up on certain points. This movie was very informative. I’m going to watch this movie again. Thanks for sharing.
Politics and Government, major money holders, etc., will definitely use the media to control and run game on us if we let them. I’m a victim, I need to practice the law of attraction when I’m in my daily travels using public transportation and often fearing the worse. What I do is pray for the best, when in addition to the prayer, I need to “think” the best.
The bottom line is that this movie wants to get us all to think…whether the subjects of the movie are factual or not. We can be so lazy brained at times that
we just eat the food that we’re fed not looking to the left and right, above and below realizing that there is a smorgasbord, of other items from which we can choose.
Thank goodness for the Bill Mahers, Michael Moores and the creators of this film (just to name a few) that will challenge the media and most importantly…our individual intellect!
